HEY, SO IM BACK, so lets get controversial. Something that has been weighing on my mind for a while now. What are your thoughts on everyone coming back out of the wood works now that DNB is (sort of) popular again? People who completely vanished from the dnb world when it was in its lowest, now are back and ready to ride the wave (and seemingly make money) once its popular again? Its a bit frustrating. For me, Im conflicted. There are a lot of people who paid their dues, some WAY more than I ever have, and they deserve the respect they have earned... but I stand frustrated at the fact they just ditched out on the dnb world when it lost its popularity, and now that its popularity is rising, all of a sudden they are interested again? To me it makes me lose a little bit of the genuine feeling from those artists. I still respect what theyve done, and can appreciate their music, support their efforts and even promote them for the better good of the music, but it still rubs me the wrong way a bit when so many of us have been deep in the trenches doing what we can and only getting ahead by so little. [/rant] I respect all people in the DNB fight. I just wish more would be here mainly because they love it, not mainly because its popular.
