HEY all, this hasnt been widely publicized but the ENTIRE music room at Weed Elementary school was burned to the ground in the fire. Those poor kids lost everything. Stands, music, instruments. The amazing teacher is compiling a list of what was lost but I was wondering- Im unsure if there is any way to divert some of the awesome support to this one special classroom that brings so much joy and learning to those kids- teaching them music. I am a musician (loosely using that term LOL), I learned in the second grade, and I know first hand the joy and diversion and discipline and all that other great stuff that comes from playing an instrument. How can we help out this classroom? Where would we start? The amazing teacher is Laura Ann Wainwright Thompson. Thank you....
