HFHP Joins North Carolina Annual Conference for Online Pre-Advent Study on Mary & Maternal Health - July 16, 2013 This November Healthy Families, Healthy Planet will partner with the North Carolina Annual Conference to host a two-week interactive online study focused on Mary, maternal health, and advocacy. Although the study will be hosted on the North Carolina Conference’s online learning website, this study will be available to all who wish to participate. Based on last year’s Advent Study Poor, Young, and Pregnant: Mary’s Advent, this expanded and updated study will explore the issues of global maternal health through the lens of Mary the Mother of Jesus. Sessions will include theological and biblical reflection on the story of Mary, information and facts about maternal health around the globe, and opportunities for advocacy. There will also be questions for conversation and forum discussions for further reflection and connection with other participants. The study will take place November 4-15, 2013.
