HHUGS ACCOUNT FROZEN READ MORE On the eve of Ramadhan, HHUGS bank account - like that of many Muslim organisations before it - was closed by Barclays without any prior notice or explanation, causing severe disruption to operations and most crucially interrupting the delivery of urgent support to its beneficiaries. Without your urgent assistance, its crippling impact will be long felt with the immediate loss of thousands of pounds in monthly standing orders and with Barclays inexplicably still not having released the Charitys funds which remain in their possession. We are imploring you to mirror the actions of the Sahaba in taking a courageous stance, and to provide your urgent support, showing that it is only Allah, and none other, whom you fear... Those to whom hypocrites said, Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them. But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs... That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
