HI GUYS !!!! Heres a little pre-info post id like to share ... Diane DiCarlo from Sage Inn and Lounge and I have been working on a great , NO FUSS opportunity for the members of Provincetown Photography Page ... weve been approached by a group from boston [ will supply details in next post ] to use our page to choose photos for a hanging in boston for 2 months in early spring .. then hopefully bringing the photos back to SAGE for a week following show in boston for a 1 week spring hanging here .. ALL that would be needed is an iconic picture of ptown [ HAS TO BE PTOWN ] that might help tell ptowns story .... IT IS NOT A CONTEST and all pictures must be in 300ppi form .. the group in boston would then choose the best photos for a project they are working on chronicling PROVINCETOWN ... [ the hanging would be part of a whole project with varied ways to showcase our town ] .... each photo will be credited to photographer with photographers name appearing in many mediums and also hung under each photo .. ALL to be produced and paid for by THEM !! the picture would become their property and it is a hanging and not a sale show ... so in short [ i know too late ] ... youd be offering up picks in 300ppi format to be used in exchange for credit and exposure .. in boston for 2 months then a spring hanging at sage ....ALL pictures chosen by the group in boston will be using no favoritism or knowledge of photographer .. they are looking for the BEST pics from varied shots of our great town ...i know it sounds complicated and i will be posting a formal INFO post shortly which will explain much clearer ... MY FIRST QUESTION IS .. how many people know how to submit photos in 300ppi format ? that is a must .. more then one photo can be submitted .. THIS IS NOT A CONTEST .. but a great way to get your work and name hung in boston and ptown .... looking for POSITIVE feed back if anyone might be interested ... BEST PHOTO , PTOWN ONLY , TELL A STORY , pics will not be returned .. or sold .. just hung with credit .. phew ... start here and i will get more specific on how to submit pics .. must be 300ppis ... thx for your time .. ronnie ...
