HI Pre-Session Devotions: Day 30 John 13:15. “I gave you an example that you should also do as I did to you.” Effective mission programs have written plans that include a motto, vision statement, core values, strategic planning and a goal. Organizations need to know where they are headed and what it takes to get them there and they depend, to a large extent, on leadership by example. True leadership is not just about humility and modesty. It is equally about a ferocious resolve and an almost stoic determination to do whatever needs to be done to make the vision real. True leaders are those who follow the Lord Jesus and never let their ego get in the way of their primary ambition for the larger cause and mission. Reflection: Do you find yourself being a leader by example in your organization, your ministry and your church? (AJ)
