HIGH RISK SECURITY ACADEMY SPECIAL DIPLOMATIC SECURITY COURSE TO BE HELD IN SPAIN - 17/01/2014 - 28/02/2014 This is a unique six week course in Diplomatic security open for participants who look to working in Diplomatic Security, at diplomatic missions protecting foreign officials, diplomats stationed in both high risk zones and in urban environments. The Academy is very pleased to announce this to be the inaugural course at the special training base in Spain. Instructors are highly skilled, professionals with both military and civilian backgrounds. Course modules to be held by instructors in high risk close protection and diplomatic protection/security as well as experts in covert surveillance and cultural awareness. The course is to be held in different environments which produce the most realistic environments for the participants. Students are required to be in very good physical condition to participate at the course. Urban Close protection training will be held in training base with shooting range and in both town and city environments. When in town and city, students to be put through very intense training. High Risk CPO training to commence at training base before moving out to desert,mountain and forest environments thus sharpening the awareness and minds of the participants to working in very different environments. Airport escort duty and foreign mission duty training to be introduced in Urban CPO training and intensified during High Risk CPO training. Training to also include instruction in requirements for working with security at diplomatic mission. The first 14 days to be intense Urban CPO training. Followed by 14 day intense High Risk CPO and diplomatic security training in both urban, desert, mountain and countryside/forest environments as mentioned above. 5 day Course in covert surveillance to also be held during course. Participants to also attend language course in one of a choice of major languages partly depending on where participants plan to seek employment thus better preparing them for employment at diplomatic missions around the world. Being stationed in another country also requires participants to have a knowledge of the countrys culture and history. When registering participants are to therefore inform as to which language they require training in. ¤The Academy reserves the right to alter, postpone or cancel the dates, prices or provisions of a course and/or the venue of the course; ¤Course fee to cover: food, accommodation, training, airport transfers, diplomas. ¤ Course fee does not cover: flight tickets to and from course, other accommodation than stipulated for course, aný other costs not covered by course fee. Language courses to be held throughout training. Cultural awareness to be held regularly throughout training. Course examination to be held at end of the course. Course language: Spanish and English.
