Students will bring their notes to the office and receive a re-admit. • AP/Honors Parent/Student Meeting: Will be on Thursday, 1/23, at 6pm in the Main Sanctuary. Any student interested in taking an AP and/or Honors class next year 2013/2014 must attend this meeting along with their parent/s. For further information, contact the HS Office. Attendance is mandatory. • Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors – College Campus Visits: We have a scheduled campus visit to Grand Canyon University. If you are interested in visiting Grand Canyon University, we are scheduled to leave on Friday, 1/31 and return the following day. GCU has provided a chartered bus, but space is limited. Permission slips are available in the college counseling and school offices. • Winter Formal: This year is on Friday, 2/7 at the Rio Hondo Event Center. The theme is “Roaring 20’s”, ticket sales begin tomorrow, 1/15 in the Activities Office. For a limited time (until Friday, 1/24) you can purchase tickets for $55. You may bring an outside guest that attends another high school, for questions see Miss Dalton. FROM THE ATHLETIC OFFICE • Attention Boys Volleyball Athletes! There will be an interest meeting today, 1/16 AFTER SCHOOL in Coach Perkins’ room 212. If you cannot make the meeting, because of a Winter Sport, please stop by and sign in so that we know you are interested. • Attention Softball players! We will have our final preseason meeting, on Tuesday 1/21 at lunch in room 119. If you are interested in being on the team this year, please make it a priority to be at this meeting.
