HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DAY ... some good friends from Champaign that I - TopicsExpress

HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DAY ... some good friends from Champaign that I knew in high school are still sharing their music. Thank you, Delta Kings! And thanks for the share to my good friend Bill Humphrey, who is playing bass. A variety of good folks, including Randy Sadewater and Brian Kueker also played in various combinations of high school friends throughout those years in the early 70s ... a lot of good music was made in Champaign/Urbana. This song is an original by Pork Armstrong, Thats What Rock n Roll Means To Me, who some might remember from the band Pork and the Havana Ducks - if Im not mistaken. Other bands that played around town in those days were REO Speedwagon and Duke Tumatoe and the All Star Frogs. On the folk side, Dan Fogelberg and Steve Goodman were playing guitar on campus at the Red Herring. A good era to be a teenager interested in good guitar players. https://youtube/watch?x-yt-cl=84503534&v=ec3UnRI2B_E&x-yt-ts=1421914688#t=62
