HIGHLIGHTS OF SUNDAY FAVOURED SERVICE - SERMON MESSAGE TITLED: DOING GODS WILL This year is a Year of Receiving Favour. It won’t be according to your own ability but God’s ability. John 9:23-27, 30-31 It is so important throughout the year to learn about God’s Will because you will realise that in the last verse (John 9:31) shows that when we do His Will, always when we speak God hears. When you read verse 23 you will realise that this man said something special. The parents tried to bring understanding to the opposers (the Pharisees); after Jesus healed this man, the Pharisees were opposing this healing. What Jesus did there was plain but this people did not know the secret of doing it. Doing God’s Will is a secret of being heard by Him. This man said that God can’t listen to a sinner even if the sinner can speak louder. The difference of you hearing God and one who is not hearing God is that the one not hearing God tells us that God is also not hearing meaning that person is not doing his Will. When you do your own Will, God can’t hear you. When you do His Will you are heard by the one you hear. We need to watch our conduct because if the Will of God in our lives does not change us, that will is questionable. You have been given chance of doing the Will of God and not to misuse it. Everyone on Earth has been given an equal chance irrespective of age. As long as you are living on Earth you are required to do what God wants you to do. We need to know the will of God in our lives. The will of God tells us to hear Him. To hear God brings us to obedience and this obedience makes us to be righteous before Him. Never think that God can do things for us without checking our Character. You are required to pay the rice to do exactly what you are ordered to do. Prayer: My Jesus! Holy Father! I am going to do your Will and I want to see your Will in my Life. I am receiving your Will and I will never suffer again. FOR FURTHER BIBLE READING: Ephesians 5:15-17 Matthew 7:21-23 Luke 22:41-44
