HIIT or MISS? High Intensity Interval Training is an Extreme - TopicsExpress

HIIT or MISS? High Intensity Interval Training is an Extreme Exercise Programme originally developed at the British Army School of Physical Training, Aldershot. (Copied by many including Tabata in Japan). It is an excellent form of exercise and is essential in keeping the British Army Soldiers the Best Trained in the World. However Personal Trainers that offer to train clients without giving them the essential fitness training that is required beforehand for anyone who wishes to participate in HIIT, are unprofessional and they are placing the clients on a dangerous path to certain injury. The British Army do not allow New Recruits to do High Intensity Interval Training at the beginning of their new careers and Trained Soldiers may only do it a few times a year a part of a much more complex Fitness Programme. As the Chart shows, the Hardest Exercise is at the Bottom and You should only attempt such Exercise once You have Worked Up to it. Anything less Will result in Injury:-(
