However, most people assume that HIIT training must involve plyometrics, jumping and generally beating up your body with high impact exercises. Not true! HIIT training is simply the act of taking yourself into the anaerobic threshold Beyond your aerobic capacity and working at your maximum or near maximum intensity for short bouts. Each drill should be no more then 30 seconds to a maximum of two minutes followed by a brief rest of 30 seconds to one minute. This type of training can be done in a pool, sprinting on a track, in your living room, on the bike, or just running upstairs! The key is intensity!!
