According to the language in the proposal, even holders of the permit and/or current hunting license would NOT be able to hike on SGLs in fall, winter and spring. Thus, scouting for game during hunting season on SGLs would be prohibited, except on Sundays. This proposal creates an us vs them atmosphere. VERY bad PR for the PGC. Though Ive not hunted in more than a decade I buy a hunting license every year to support the PGC.
