HILLSIDE HELPS- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (Ro 8:28) In the midst of all the turmoil in our world, our God is present and in control. He is always working out His will and purpose even though it may not be visible to the eye. As the anti-Christ crowd seems to get the media coverage and the favorable rulings in the high courts, Christians are persecuted and targeted for their belief in the God of absolute Truth. The threat of economic collapse looms on the horizon, as national and personal debt sours out of control. While humankind wallows in the woes of an out of control world, the Hand of the Almighty God is accomplishing everything He has planned. For the children of God, who are the called according to His purpose, there is a promising Word. God is working things out according to His plan and purpose. He is right on schedule. Only God can take what seems to be so bad, and make it so good. When people look at things from an earthly perspective, it seems that only the bad is visible. But, God is working things out for good to them that love God, to them that are the called... Today, child of God, keep the faith. Continue to trust God through all that you encounter along the way. Develop a Biblical world view so you can understand what is happening as revealed by the Word of God. Be assured that God is in complete control of your situation and, even though things look bleak, God is already working things out for your good. Then, walk in that promise. He loves you, knows whats best for you, and will provide the strength and comfort you need to take the next steps in your life. May the Lord bless and keep you in His mercy and grace.
