We are not hiring cashiers until two weeks before our open date. So hold tight, cashiers! Please note, all staff will be required to drive to and train out of the Maple Grove location until the Woodbury store opens up. This training period could be anywhere from 2-4 months and is mandatory. We realize this might be a trek for some of you but if you are not able to do this, we are not able to job offer you. Also, since we’re a retail bakery, we need our full time staff members to have open availability so we can schedule to the needs of the business. Weekends are a must! It’s our busiest time. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a professional cake decorator and must present a portfolio of cake photos as part of the application process. An audition may be requested. You must love to work with the public! We don’t teach people to be nice, we hire nice people! Previous management experience in a coffee shop or restaurant is a plus. Must have open availability, including weekends. Duties include barista work, serving cupcakes and ice cream, handling customer service issues, money handling, training, coaching, managing and hiring front of house support staff, supply inventory and ordering for front of house needs.
