HISTORIC FOOTAGE FROM LAKE TEXOMA AND DENISON DAM - 60 YEARS + A NEW SONG BY SINGER, JOHN LEE BOYER AND A MUSIC VIDEO... After several years of assisting Veteran Journalist and Filmmaker, Gene Lenore, with an in-depth documentary on the construction of Denison Dam and Lake Texoma, the work draws near an end. At least there is light at the end of the tunnel. We will be announcing our marketing plans very soon. In the meantime, a talented musician that we secured to play harmonica on some of our film sequences, decided to bring just a little more to the table. John Lee Boyer presented our production team with an original song simply title, THE DENISON DAM. We were immediately impressed with the catchy tune and clever lyrics, so John and I recorded the song in my small studio over a two day period. Weve kept it simple. Just like a sing-a-long around a campfire. John sang the lead, played guitar and harmonica and I clapped my hands and sang a few harmony lines. We had a lot of fun! I hope you have fun listening to it. Along with Johns catchy tune, is a specially produced video utilizing some of the archival footage from the Corp of Engineers.
