HISTORY IS A CONSOLATION Last night I watched a documentary on the holocaust. Many asked, where was God when Auschwit happened. Auschwit is a place in Poland where Hitlers Third Reich built what comes to me as the worst concentration camp in history.....As par the question of where God was, He was where He had ever been....Oh, God, He amazes me a lot! So powerful, yet never callous in the use of power. Give men the power God has, history would have ended since. Thank God, men are not God and God is not a man. I uploaded this picture from a friends Facebook page, Pastor Ben Madu. He quoted Hosea 9:14 on top Give them , O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts....Ben prayed this for Boko Haram and asked us to type Amen. You see, Amen or no Amen, a principle is at work. Jesus told a disciple who used his sword to cut off the ear lobe of one of the street urchins that came to arrest him (some versions of the story had it that the sword wielding disciple was tempestuous and highly temperamental Peter) to put back his sword for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword (Matt.26:52). You know, even God does not interfere with principles based on His word. It runs through. You wonder, where is the ideology that gave birth to Auschwit? Where is the vision that drove the orgies of senseless killings? Where is the Third Reich who boasted to hoist a 1000 year reign of terror? Where is Nazism and its German kingpins? Where is Fascism and its Italian lords? Where is militarism and its Japanese collaborators? Where is communism and its anti-Christ brag on the streets of Moscow? And now I hear of a Caliphate that its builders want to kill all and rule nothing. IT WILL NOT WORK! (QED). History is strong on that, that it will not work. After the picture of kwashiokor ravaged children of Biafra shown to the world between 1968-1970, with their tiny buttocks, bulging bellies and tadpole looking heads, we thought we will not have this kind of picture shown about Nigerian children again. But here we are! Check the picture again. Obviously that baby is holding a breast without milk. What the troublers of Nigeria have sown, they will reap. No empire stands on the blood of innocent people. This empire will not rise, talk less of falling! God is God. He is where He has forever be. To Him alone be all glory!
