HISTORY MADE LAST NIGHT AT THE SPOKEN WORD LOUNGE IN CHICAGO, HEIRS TO THE THRONE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. HEIRS 2 THE THRONE 2014 was the most successful of all the Heirs 2 Thrones, since its inception 3 years ago. Over 185 fans and supporters packed into the Spoken Word Lounge Saturday night to witness one of the illest Spoken Word Concerts to ever touch a stage in any city. THE FANS WERE OFF THE CHAIN. When I tell you that those who attended the Heirs concert last night was on 10 the whole 4 hours, thats an understatement. The crowd sang, danced, they cheered on the artist and really enjoyed themselves. LOVELY LYRICIST GIVES THE PERFORMANCE OF A LIFETIME. After 4 years of waiting in the wings and on the on deck circle, Antoinette LovelyLyricist Coleman finally got her chance to step up to the plate and hit a GRAND SLAM!!!! 10 SHOTS TO THE DOME. Overall 9 Heirs ripped the mic, Justcallme Lah Marshall aka SoLah took us on a love ride, Mike Williams aka Just Mic gave us a lyrical testimony with a little comedy twist. Kiley Brown epitomized woman and took the audience to the next level. Omar Brothero Gadling inspired the crowd with his testimony piece, THEY SAID I WOULDNT. Rosemary Coleman aka One Single Rose, from Detroit spit fiya and took us on a vocal flight with an opera version of Jill Scotts HE LOVES ME. Poetry Soulchild showed us why his life is his poetry and his poetry is his life. Tierra Clark aka Ascension Divine gave a riveting emotional performance in the spirt of Mama Brenda, the legendary Queen of Poetry whom we just lost. (May She Forever R.I.P). Our headliner for the evening was WORD WARRIOR who didnt disappoint. He show why he is the hardest working Heir of 2014. Two of the highlights of the night was the special guest performance by Kings ogmf Poetry and Blaq Ice. Taalam Acey had the whole crowed in awe by the words of a Spoken Word King. Blaq Ice did a special rendition of his signature piece E.G.O featuring One Single rose. HEIRS 2 THE THRONE will forever go down in history as one of the greatest Spoken Word Concerts Chicago has ever witnessed. Special thanks to Toy Ann McCray who made sure everyone was taken care of.
