HISTORY : Smt.AMOL MORAJKAR passed away in History yesterday 13th april 2014. Smt Amol Morajkar was a popular well known social worker working for rural women s welfare in Anjuna n other villages in the North of Goa. She was the ex North Goa Zilla Panchayat President n Vice Chairperson of Women s Co- operative Bank . She was actively involved in women s issues n self help groups .She was member of many a social groups including Rotary Club . She was in BJP n later switched over to Congress . Smt . Morajkar helped many a rural woman n redressed their grievances .She was only 56 . On behalf of Goa Heritage Action Group , History - History Forum , Utt Goemkara I offer my humble tribute to this great social worker .R.I.P.
