HIT BY A CAR AND MY OWNER NEVER EVEN TOOK ME TO THE VET… My name is Mommam. I am only 8 months of age but I’ve already been through so much in my short life. When I was hit by a car, I got a very bad injury on my head. My owner didn’t care; he didn’t even take me to see a vet. My injury got worse and worse… One day, another nice man found me and he called Soi Dog. I was picked up by a man called Khun Thep, who is an Animal Rescue Officer. By now, the wound on my head was infected and completely infested with maggots. I was such a sad little boy and in so much pain. Since the vets here have been looking after me, I am getting a bit better every day. I have also been told that the nice man who found me and called Soi Dog wants to adopt me when I am better. I will finally have a home with an owner who cares. Dogs like me get sick or suffer horrific injuries every day. I am one of the lucky ones; I was rescued by the donations of the Emergency Response Team. Can you please do the same for another suffering dog or cat?
