HIV/AIDS is a significantly economic burden disaster in the world because of the following: 1) The age group in which it majorly affect. ie it affects the most economically productive group between 15 - 65 years of age. 2) The orphan and dependence burden. 3) The dangerous diseases associated ie opportunistic infections associated ie TB which can as well affect the health population. As we thing and argue on tribal and political lines think of a parent,cousin,relative,brother ,sister nephew, nice who is HIV positive or who has died and the burden he/she has left will you want more orphans? The Jubilee government got it very wrong in reducing the healthcare budget and introduced free maternity and Antenatal care, for we will definitely have increased population and increased dependency ratio without good healthcare in place. Who will help KENYA?
