HL Em has been tagged in the #alsicebucketchallenge. His 24 hour window has obviously come and gone. There is a reason for his ignoring of the time limit. He has seen a number of the Order of the Gold Vest participate in a number of random and creative ways. Well done to all of you. The bigger question is, did any of you donate? You see, ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, is a terrible affliction. It begins with the loss of muscular control and ends with being a prisoner inside of your own body. As much as the #alsicebucketchallenge has raised awareness and money for research, HLM is curious as to how many of you actually donated to the cause. ALS awareness is far more than an excuse to see your friends douse themselves with ice water virally. So come on Order, show me what youre made of. Post a receipt of some type of donation to alsa.org/ and tag HL Em in it. If the Order of the Gold Vest gets to $1500 collectively by 3:30 pm, Wednesday, August 27, HLM will present himself at the Tower City parking lot from 4 to 5 pm to be doused by everyone who contributed at least $25.
