HMS Queen Elizabeth will be officially named by the Queen in a ceremony at Rosyth in Fife, where it is currently being fitted out, on Friday July 4. The first Carrier will be named by the Queen on the 4th of July, so perhaps people can celebrate it both sides of the Atlantic. The British are updating their fleet, with Astute Class SSNs, Type 45 Destroyers, QE Class Carriers, and in the future Type 26 Global Combat Ships.
