HOLDING GRUDGES....Fire starts with a small spark..then spreads out and become a big fire and can consume a place and destroy it. Its just like grudge in the heart. It can start with a simple hurt but later on it will affect our whole lives. Grudges are heavy, but hard to put down if one is not willing. And holding it is poison to the soul. Resentment and grudges are the things we dare not collect in our spirits for they will spoil and rot, producing poison that will contaminate our words as well as our actions. .....Life is too short, grudges are waste of perfect happiness and peace. Most of the people who feel they are unhappy now are holding a grudge and wishing unhappiness on the person who hurt them. Romans 12:17-21 says: Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ...... Untie the knot, forgive and set yourself free. Better yet, analyze and learn what actually hurt you, and prevent it from happening again in the future. Life is too precious, fragile and unpredictable to waste it on grudges....LOVE AND FORGIVE AS WHAT GOD DID TO US!
