HOLE-in-one for PAR four hole by FIRST TIME Golfer..... It happened in 1899, either at Maine or more probably at New Hampshire on Francis H Leggets private golf course in the USA. Leggets son, young Hollister was explaining golf as Vivekananda had been curious about the game. Pointing to a far off flag, he had said it takes at least four club strokes to get the ball into that hole. Vivekanada smiled and said Master Holl! I can hit the ball into the hole from where I am standing. When Holl grinned and ridiculed, V said Whats the use of arguing? Let us bet. Holl took out a 50-cent coin and father Legget who had joined them,laughing, produced a ten dollar bill. Swamiji asked Holl to go and stand near the hole, point to it and then move away before he hit the ball. Then he looked quietly at the distant hole for a few moments and swung. Boom!The ball blurred into the hole! This is an astonishing feat for an Indian Yogi!! exclaimed a bemused Mr. Legget. Swami laughed and said No..no! I would not waste my Yoga power for such a small thing. I measured the distance to the hole mentally. I know how much strength I have in my arms. I told my mind I want those ten and a half dollars. My wish was transferred from my mind to my arms. I swung my arms with full concentration and got what I wanted But Tiger Woods, poor guy -as a Sunday golfer told me - plays dozens of holes at top golfing competitions and before he goes home, he still sweats out over hundreds and thousands of practice shots to get perfect!!!!!!
