***HOLIDAY EXCLUSIVE!*** THE WRAPS ARE OFF! From the group that brought you the FIRST BUZZ about the new DUNKIN DONUTS franchise opening up in the EDGEWATER HOTEL months ago, comes the latest breaking news! This morning (Thursday) at around 9:00, the wraps came off the new DD stand, located just insdie the hotels main entrance....just as we told you it would way back in the early fall Counters and machinery in place. Floor and wall tiles done. Carpeting, trim and wall covering to the right of the wall opening being completed as I write this! This is, reportedly, the last day that the primary construction crews are working on the venue, and tomorrow (Friday, December 19), DD executives arrive with their first staff members to take over and get the stand ready to serve their Dunkin Delights to the pulbic. From what I have heard by asking a few sources,. the new venue will not begin operations until Jamuary, with the current expected CLOSING date for the COFFEE, ETC. stand next to the pool now being set for the close of business on Saturday, January 10. This could mean that the DD stand will be open for business on Sunday January 11 or Monday Janurary 12. Its pretty cool that the Edgewater unwrapped its first Christmas present....to us....a week before the big day!
