HOLIDAY FOOD FOR HEALING: Holiday open house goodies, cooked by Elaine and Irma, two of our head instructors of many of our wellness and Qigong programs!! Menu included Chinese eggplant, good for balancing your Liver; Sauteed Lotus Root, which benefits your Lung Qi, bitter Chinese greens, beneficial for your Heart, Daikon Radish Salad, which supports your Stomach energy, and Butternut Squash Soup, also good for Stomach energy. Dessert included chocolate truffles - life needs a little sweet! - chestnuts, and Chinese red dates marinated in ginger wine, which are especially good for your digestive health and production of Qi and blood.
