HOLY LAND- ISRAEL , Place our Savior was born. We visited the place as a tourist in Nov, 1994 (12 nights Mediterranean cruise). There were soldiers (also women) anywhere even in shopping areas. Each church in the Holy Sepulchre were managed by different Christian priests. The tomb where Jesus was buried was managed by the Franciscans. My husband said he wants to bring our 3 children to see the place of our Savior. Nov, 1998, we (w/ our 3 children Mike, Gayle & Angelo) joined a pilgrimage to Holy Land w/ Fr. Noel. Before our trip, news about explosion in one of the shopping areas in Holy Land. My husband was worried. I asked God if we will be safe. I saw Blessed Virgin Mary carrying like an umbrella but when she opened it, it was a very big dome covering us. While we were there, we could hear gunshots going on around us. It did not bother us. The children were the only young ones but they enjoyed it bec. there 3 of them, helping the elderly carry their luggages.March, 2006 we went on a prayer mission w/ Fr. Noel. God told me to go to Holy Land. I said I have been there 2X already. He said: How about my people (to pray for them especially the dead. We started prayer missions 2003. There is a 10ft. concrete fence separating Israel from Palestine. One could see that there are hardly any stores/ shops in Palestine. Our Palestinian tour guide cannot go inside Israel, has to wait outside. King Davids tomb, men are separated from women, before we all enter together. There were 4 of us for this mission in the group. We have been staying in the same hotel for 4 days. When we arrived to the hotel from walking from The Holy Sepulchre Church, we opened the door of our room; the lights turned on by itself. We looked at each other. As we started tracing our walk through the Holy Sepulcher, the lights turned off. Cary turned on the switch, nothing happened, so he went to the door opened it (lights turned on). We started talking again, same thing happened. It happened several times until our team (Tessie & Buddy) came. Same thing happened, lights turned off, open the door, lights turned on. It also happened while we were praying. Souls were coming in to pray with us. In this trip, we were not able to go to Jericho, a man was taken hostage.
