HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE Group Day-To-Day Itinerary Day 01MANILA-DUBAI-AMMAN Depart Manila in the evening and enjoy in flight services with one of the best airline in the world. Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Meet your Jordanian guide and board to your air-conditioned bus to Madaba. Visit also Mt. Nebo, the memorial of Moses, the presumed site of the Prophet’s death and burial place. Have our arrival Thanks giving mass. According to the Genesis, Moses died and was buried at Mt. Nebo. Then, continue to Petra for dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 02PETRA - AMMAN (B,L,D) After breakfast, Proceed to your full day tour to Petra, “a rose-red city half as old as time", the place in the desert that is prepared by God for the Jewish people. Also experience horseback ride through the picturesque SIQ, and visit the Treasury, a rose colored monumental building artfully carved out of sheer rock. Transfer to Amman. Continue to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 03 AMMAN –Allenby - JERICHO – Yardenit – TIBERIAS (B,L,D) Check out of your hotel. Drive to Allenby border and cross into Israel . Drive to Jericho , the city that Joshua destroyed AND THE OLDEST CITY IN WORLD to see the Sycamore tree and Mount of Temptation. After lunch Proceed to Yardenit, a baptismal site on the Jordan River . Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Day 04 TIBERIAS - GALILEE AREA – MT TABOR - TIBERIAS (B,L,D) After breakfast proceed to Mt. Tabor to visit the church of the transfiguration. Then continue to visit the Beatitudes Church where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and Tabgha where Jesus performed the multiplication of the loaves and fish. Continue to Capernaum where you will see a 4th century synagogue and St. Peter’s House. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Cana where Jesus changed the water into wine. Couples will renew their marriage vows in the Church of Cana during a Eucharistic celebration. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 05 TIBERIAS - Nazareth – HAIFA - CAESAREA- – JERUSALEM (B,L,D) Breakfast at the hotel then drive to Nazareth . It is here where the Angel Gabriel appeared before Mary and where Jesus spent his boyhood. Visit the Church of the Annunciation where we shall our mass. Continue to St. Joseph’s workshop and the home of the Holy Family. On to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great, where Peter baptized the centurion Cornelius. See the Roman Amphitheater, the Aqueduct and many other ruins. Continue to Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel ’s third largest city. See the Bahai Shrine and gardens. Continue to Jerusalem for check in dinner and overnight. Day 06 BETHLEHEM - JERUSALEM (B,L,D) After breakfast drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of Nativity, Milk Grotto and the Shepherd’s Fields. See St. Catherine’s Church and have our Eucharistic celebration at Jerome’s cave where the Bible was translated. Then in the afternoon continue to drive to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of the city. Visit the Pater Noster Church , the Dominus Flevit, the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane . Proceed to Mount Zion where you will visit the room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb, the Dormition Abbey, St. Peter’s Church. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 07 JERUSALEM - OLD CITY (B,L,D) Enter the old city. Stop at the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed a blind man. Visit the Church of St. Anne . Then follow the Via Dolorosa (14 Stations of the Cross) starting at the Church of Flagellation (Lithostratos) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of the Calvary . Continue to Mount Moriah to visit the Western Wall. .. Remainder of the day is at leisure for shopping. Overnight at your hotel. Day 8 EIN KAREM - QUMRAN & DEAD SEA (B,L,D) After breakfast proceed to EIn Karem to visit St John the Baptist Church and Church of Visitation. Proceed to Qumran and see the caves of the Essences where Dead Sea Scrolls where found by a Shepherd boy. Then on to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. Experience floating on its mineral rich waters. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Day 9AMMAN – DUBAI (B,D) Check out then drive to Allenby Border to cross to Amman where you will take your onward flight to Dubai.
