HOME! HOME! HOME! Good evening dear friends! Our family is together again. Carlos is doing well and the light in his eyes is back. Carlos still has a ways to go to beat the pneumonia but I have faith he will recover. He will need plenty of rest with limited exercise for probably a couple more weeks but Ill take that. We will be taking him in next Wednesday for a checkup on his lungs and to see if the heart medications are continuing to do what they are supposed to. I cant thank Dr. Hines, the nurses and staff at @Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine enough for giving Carlos the best of care and giving us peace of mind knowing they would do everything possible to help our HERO recover. Carlos is resting comfortably here at home on his new ultra soft blanket that was delivered today from his Aunt Sandie K. I think he likes it. :) Thank you Sandie. He loves it! Goodnight everyone.
