HOME INTERNAL MEMO FROM: FATHER TO: ALL DEPENDANTS CC: MOTHER SUBJECT :COST CUTTING MEASURES Due to the current economic situation, all domestic rules n regulations have been revised as below and under no circumstances shall any violation be accepted. 1. The kitchen and all pantries are declared restricted zones. Entry and/or passage shall require express permission from myself upon submission of written request (for filing) 2. Breakfast is banned. This matter shall not be discussed! 3. Such food items as rice, pasta, cereals, meat, bread, eggs, milk are banned. Anyone wishing to eat them should write to me, within 3 days notice, giving justifications backed up by a qualified dietician (remember, its for filing!) 4. Watering with hoses is banned! Furthermore, only food giving plants shall receive water. 5. Bathing in the morning is limited to 5litres of water per person. Afternoon and evening bathing is banned unless there are medical reasons. On the same note, toilet flushing is set for only 3 times a day. morning-after waking up, Afternoon- after lunch, Evening- after supper. Flushing outside those times shall lead to the penelazation of not going to the toilet for the next 24 hours. 6. No dependent of mine shall entertain friends indoors, far less attempt to offer food, drinks or music. Those who want their guests to listen to music shall sing for them! 7. All visitors intending to spend two or more days shall give a two months notice giving convincing reasons why they cannot stay at their homes.
