HOME INVASION UPDATE The Barrie Police Service has charged a male in relation to the home invasion that occurred in the Letitia Heights area over the weekend. A 19 year old male has been charged with 20 offences including break & enter, robbery, attempt murder and several firearm and assault related offences. The male was already on a bail release for previous gun and drug related charges. He has been held pending a bail hearing. At this time the police are still seeking the other 2 outstanding suspects. One of them is a white male who is believed to have suffered considerable injuries to his face or jaw area. If any member of the public has any information they are requested to call the Barrie Police Service or Crime Stoppers. Also as a result of this investigation, 3 of the residents of the home, who were the victims of the home invasion, have been arrested in relation to a marihuana grow operation within the home. During the investigation police located approximately 50 marihuana plants as well as numerous large bags of marihuana. Police also located a large bag of magic mushrooms. Once again, police are still looking to locate the other 2 suspects involved in the home invasion.
