HOME.SWEET.HOME! Well, it may seem somewhat self-serving (it is what it is!), but Im going to award myself, Randolph Wilson Cuchens, 10,000 points as part of my Frequent-Traveler-Miles-On-4-Wheels Program . . . Lets see . . . > Last Saturday, April 26, I traveled to Pontotoc, MS, for Revival at West Heights Baptist Church with James F Francis Jr. and David Hamilton = 135 miles > On Sunday thru Wednesday, April 27-30, I traveled back and forth to the church from our Bed N Breakfast and took a trip one afternoon to Ecru to visit a farm belonging to the Pitts family = 50 miles > On Wednesday, April 30, I got back to Newton, MS, about midnight and found Susan Cuchens reading a book! = 135 miles > On Thursday, May 1, Susan and I traveled to Enterprise, MS, and spent the night . . . we certainly had a wonderful time with Ella Reese, daughter of Jessica Cuchens Jefcoat & Josh Jefcoat and Hannah Brooke, daughter of Jennifer Cuchens Wooten & Jason Wooten = 35 miles > On Friday, May 2, Susan, Jennifer, and I traveled to Tallahassee, Florida, for the graduation of our niece/cousin, Christine Carrier, who is the daughter of Louise McNab Carrier & Stephen Carrier, grand-daughter of Betty McNab, sister of Mike Carrier and Matthew Carrier = 290 miles > On Saturday, May 3, following the Florida State University Graduation Commencement at the Leon County Civic Center with Guest Speaker, Coach Bobby Bowden (who was also awarded an honorary doctorate!), we back-tracked our steps going through Enterprise and arrived back in Newton at about 7:00 pm = 325 miles 7 days and 7 hours Approximately 970 miles READY.TO.STAY.HOME!
