HOME!!! Sad to leave many friends at Childserve, so grateful for all the help and love along the way. We are ever so thankful to at last be home with our dear boy and all settling in tonight as a family! Successfully managed our first go with our new CPT machine tonight. (Ian even got me a cup of coffee and a truffle to nibble while we did Hughs treatment!) Now to get all this new equipment and supplies sorted and find a home for where its all going to be. Only one moment of wondering if we were headed to ER...Little sister Emmaline fell off the picnic bench while we were walking Grandma and Grandpa to the car. She has a huge goose egg but is responding just fine and hasnt let it slow her down one bit. (You can imagine how my heart stopped for a moment!!!) Were keeping a close eye on her of course but thankfully she seems just fine. Oh, and Fiona fell off her bike about 5 minutes after that and came in crying about her slightly scratched foot...and of course all of this was while were having the new medical equipment dropped off and they were explaining everything. Ah well...cant have a Hugh homecoming without a little action. (For those of you who dont know, when we brought Hugh home from the NICU when he was just 3 weeks old we had a fire in our oven that caused tons of smoke. All was fine in the end but compared to that everything else seems oddly simple! :) What a life!!! Very kindly, my sister called and offered to send a pizza our way which felt like a Thanksgiving feast tonight! So so grateful tonight for where we are and having gotten to this point. Thank you Lord for seeing us through!!!
