HOME TO ME I had me a woman she was rarer than the rest she whispered to the horses and she wore a wedding dress her ways were cute and awesome you should see her ride she chased across the prairies on that mustangs hide She rode through all the cactus and she rode to Texas town she was a friend to all her neighbors she wouldnt let them down she smiled and winked her eye and the stars began to glow she was a lady in the evening thats when i loved her so I had me an angel with sultry sea green eyes every time she moved her butt the words began to rhyme n slide all the birds were singing and the flowers were all in bloom think Im gonna take that gal one may afore its high noon Her past and all her friendships she left them all alone traveled across continents all out on her own her heart was in the right place and her body it was mine i loved her like no other for she was surely mine All the bells were ringing in the church upon the hill i can still see her picture its in my memory still she was with the horses but i was in her eyes i was a poet who fell in love with a lady who told Truth and no lies For she was a rare beauty no one like her before she loved the open places and we walked along the shores i held her neath the moon above and kissed her tenderly she was my diamond sky and in just a few days shes coming home to me. LADY IN RED She was my lady in red she swept into my life like a mystical cavalcade i knew i was in love i knew i was saved she flew into my country from the great USA she was my lady in red she made my day She won many hearts across these shores she was destined to be my promised amour she was graceful and so beautiful when she strolled into the airport i could never ask for more She was a lady in red that day all the men stared n turned their heads she was my lady in red with green flashing eyes she stole my heart now Im no longer mystified She entrapped me with her beauty like no other before shes my Yankee sweetheart and my girl.
