HOMELESS to HERO Gotta minute to hear my story? My name is Maggie Mae and I will be 1 in January. The Fetch Foundation heard that a homeless man in San Diego needed to surrender me because of his health. I was scooped up off the the streets and taken to Arizona. I had never run, swam or played with other dogs ... ever. I had 6 weeks at The Fetch Foundation facility and made dozens of best friends. I swam and ran and ran and ran. I had lots of training in manners and obedience. I was a star if I must say so myself. Today was a very big day for me. Soldiers Best Friend asked if I would meet a very brave Veteran that needed me. She has a loving husband and 2 great kids but she needed a little more in her life and that was ME. I will train with her to be a Service K-9. We will do very cool things together and I will comfort her and she will comfort me ... what a match! Because of The Fetch Foundation I have great purpose in my life ... please donate today so this Homeless to Hero program can help even more Veterans! thefetchfoundation
