HONEST ANSWERS PLEASE. So, in a few days, The Sullivan will be hosting Mambo Night. For those that dont know, this was a very popular event hosted by the Raleigh Hotel back in the 70s and 80s. I am assuming that attendees will be required to wear the appropriate attire-Ooo La La Sassoon jeans, Huckapoo shirts, Capezio shoes, Members Only Jacket, etc.. My question-How many of you still have these items in your closet? And if so, was it in case a big event like this returned 40 years later? Or maybe you figured the style would make a big comeback? Too busy to have cleaned your closet since 1973? Other reason? Oh yea, dont forget to bring your mood ring and pet rock!
