HONEY UPDATE!!!! Its been a while were WAY over due so this wont be short. Our girl sure has come a long way. In the pics you will see how she looked at the shelter. How she looks today. The xray that shows the extent of the abuse and neglect she has endured. And finally her favorite spot on the couch with het foster brother and sister. The xray shows a traumatic injury in which her hip was broken. The head of her femur is actually broken off! This injury occurred when she was just a puppy and was still growing. She never received any medical treatment for this. As she grew her body compensated for the broken hip and her femur grew in deformed. When I think about the pain and neglect she has endured I am filled with a murderous rage. Her body has encapsulated the bone with scar tissue and she actually gets around very well. A side from walking a little wonky it doesnt bother her or slow her down much at all. Shes been through two eye surgeries and will have her hw treatment next week. We are on the home stretch ladies and gentlemen! And her spirit is what leaves me in utter amazement! After everything she has been through....this girl absolutely LOVES and trusts everyone she meets. She is a true testament to the loving nature of the Pit Bull. Thank you all for your continued support we thank you from the bottom of our hearts....and Honey thanks you from her comfy spot on the couch where she is currently snoozing away (rather loudly).💕
