HONOUR WHERE HONOUR IS DUE::: Engineers and Planers a company owned by the brother is the President Ibrahim Mahama had fixed the broken bridge on the Tema-Accra stretch of the Tema Motorway! Mr. Ibrahim Mahama was until recently, lambasted for a loan his company had contracted from Merchant Bank. The loan payment delayed due to a decision taken by the previous management of the bank which was later identified to be political. He contracted a loan in 2007 when the NPP was in power. The loan was supposed to run for a five (5) year duration but was re-scheduled to three (3) as soon as his brother now the President John Dramani Mahama was picked by the late President of Ghana Professor John Evans Atta Mills as his running mate for the 2008 elections. Engineers and Planners today, had not been given any commendation from Ghanaians for this work done. The bridge was to be fixed within six (6) weeks but E&P fixed the bridge within seven (7) days. We can all recall the commitment by Engineers and Planners to the well-being of Ghanaians in the area .their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A similar gesture was exhibited when the Melcom disaster occurred. The company deployed their heavy duty vehicles to help clear the debris at NO cost to the state. Let us give credit where it is due! To Engineers and Planners and to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, I say God bless you for your good works! May He continue to bless you!
