HOPE. I Corinthians 13:13 says “And now these three remain faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” While love is the greatest, you must never underestimate the power of HOPE. Its mentioned around 180 times in the Bible. Faith and hope are closely linked, but different. Hope is the precursor to Faith. Your spirit was designed to live with Hope, and when we lose hope, we lose all desire to live. The opposite is miraculously true. Hope can sustain us like we often think of air/water, etc. I have witnessed this 2 times in my own life, once in my own mother. If you knew her, if you spent any respectable length of time actually observing or really listening to her, you know it was HOPE that kept her alive, fed her soul, beyond all else on Earth. Hope has been about all I had at certain times in my life, some long ago, some still fresh. Its not always easy to have hope, and sometimes it feels impossible, overwhelming even. But it is imperative that we never EVER, no matter how dark and discouraging it gets, EVER completely lose hope. Without it, our soul dies. FIGHT FOR HOPE. Share hope with others who may not have enough. We all need reinforcement from time to time. Even the strongest need to be refilled with hope occasionally. Praying that God will work through me to keep hope alive for my family, and praying that His will is the same as ours this time. I give it all to Him; He knows our hearts and what we ask.
