HOPE ROAD PERIPHERAL :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Need to find time to do this out of busy schedule with an eminent task impending! I must commend our efforts at laying at the door steps of the public, pictures of developmental projects either completed or at various stages of completion, I must commend Honourable Felix Kwakye Ofosu for the initiative these past days. Same cannot be lost for a commendation to Honourable Abass Fuseini Sbaabe. This man I admire a lot though I seldom meet him. This man had consistently kept us updated and has made frantic efforts to make the Fantiakwah District a household district to everyone. It is in this light that I commend all of you for the communication of proof that we have become active in this year 2015. Honourable Hanna Tetteh must equally take massive commendation for staying in touch with the grounds and keeping us informed on her outfit. Madam, thank you! It is quite obvious the opposition and its members who claimed to see nothing are trembling. This unprecedented successes being chalked are getting them dazed as they could not believe all these were happening when they decided to go blind in this country. It was the argument that government had borrowed too much with nothing to show for it. Now, it is about the inadequacy of projects to justify the amount borrowed. At least, it is an admission that they are opening their eyes and healing of the self-imposed myopia. The strategy now is that, they respond to the achievements in roads, education, health etc sectors as every government does these. If that is the case, why the complains of nothing happening? Why are governments elected? Not to do what every government does? So why must John Dramani Mahamas administration be different? Why should the measurements change? No government anywhere in this world is elected to build space crafts to evacuate its citizens during rapture, no government is elected to provide air-conditioners in the skies. So why must it be different under President Mahama? It must be understood. If for 8 years in power, not even enough Secondary Schools were built let alone talk of adding a university, and in your 4 years forwarding into 6 years, TWO NEW PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES have provided with additional ONE to come on stream before 2016, what would you have done, especially that records must be played and u have nothing to show for it? That is not all, if in just one term, over TWO THOUSAND SCHOOLS were cleared from under trees as compared to 8 years of which no figure of same project could be sighted, what would you have done? Laugh? This is painful to note that the 8 year record is poor and poor. You see, I always say that, the man residing in the village who watched his son sitting for class under trees but who now sees his child being taught under constructed structure, does not need the NPP to tell him that nothing is happening in his vicinity. I must say that I am impressed with what I am seeing so far. Your duty as a sympathizer of the NDC and by extension the government is to make known what the government is doing to make the party proud. Anything short of that, then you are a better opposition member. They tell you, why are you always praising government. Why must you wear opposition lenses and join in criticizing your government when you can see unparalleled achievements over these few years? We must be enthused that we have a president in His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. In him, no need trying to become apostles of old age and fighting for their rights. Eventually, every old man in Ghana is benefiting from the various interventions. Major hospital projects coming up across the country are a sure bet of health care accessibility. The Better Ghana Agenda is on course. Do not be taken aback, the work must go on as JM continues to deliver on the promised into 2016.
