HORSE 16 - NeighbourLink Calgary NeighbourLink Calgary is an operation dedicated to providing furniture, household items, and baby items, food hampers, bus tickets, and more to individuals and families living in poverty, with the primary goal of mitigating the effects and stresses of not being able to afford these essential items for their families. In 2013 alone, NeighbourLink has helped over 30,000 individuals, 9,000 families, and delivered essential items to over 10,000 homes. They run two main programs, Infants and Children Under 2, with infant well-being as their primary concern, and Low Income Family Furniture Essentials Support, collecting donations of items and distributing them to low-income families from all walks of life.
