HOSHANA RABBAH! After all the thousands of words of prayers that we have uttered, after all the tears we have cried, it comes down to one simple word: HOSHANA- GD please help us. Thats the bottom line. This morning, Jews the world over will awake and go to Shul and plead for their lives and that of their families and communities. TODAY, is the day that our fate is sealed and delivered. By Chassidic tradition this day holds the very same value and holiness as Yom Kippur. As we pray and repeat this word, over and over in our davening, lets take a moment to think of all those who are in such desperate need for Hashems divine mercy. Pray for our families and children. Pray for the sick especially the young children whose lives have been shattered by debilitating pain and illness. Pray on behalf of other Jews who are suffering and whose lives are in turmoil. Finally, let us pray that Hashem bless us with Peace. Peace in our homeland, peace in our homes and most of all peace in our heart. May Hashem listen to each and every one of our prayers and grant us a new lease on life sprinkled with blessing and good health.
