HOT JOB ALERT - HR ADVISOR, PENZANCE £28,000 Call Becky today: 01872 222338 / 07966219456 Position: Permanent Hours: 8.30 - 5.30 Salary: £28000pa Start date: ASAP My client based in the Penzance area is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. The main purpose of the role is to provide professional support and accurate advice to managers and employees using the policies and procedures ensuring they are used fairly and consistently. Review HR Information and compliance for all Audits. Ensure all systems and processes are maintained and kept up to date to enable accurate reporting. Ensure all day to day activities within HR are carried out in a professional manner. Provide support to ensure the HR plan is implemented and to undertake HR projects as required. The post holder will be expected to undertake Biannual Audits; Review HR Information and compliance for all Audits; Write and maintain HR policy and procedures as directed by the HR Manager; Ensure any HR processes that are used are the most efficient and are documented; Undertake HR project work as required; Interview support and guidance for key operational staff as required; Provide advice where required regarding aspects of the recruitment process to ensure best practice and ensuring a fair and consistent approach is maintained; Advise and support updating of job descriptions and person specifications; Provide advice on discipline/grievance matters at the appropriate level; Support with discipline/grievance hearings at the appropriate level; Ensure all letters/recording of discipline hearings attended are completed to timescales and to the appropriate standards; Provide statistical reports as directed and required by the HR Manager; Assist with training and development of employees as directed by the HR Manager; Provide support and help drive change management initiatives as directed by the HR Manager; Check any legal documents, such as contracts that are to be issued are correct; To play an active role, alongside HR, endorsing Equal Opportunities in the introduction and progression of all employees, both new and old and in ensuring that at all times such staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities they hold within the Company; To be aware of your own responsibilities for Health & Safety and to play an active part in ensuring that all staff work within the Company’s Health & Safety Policy.
