HOT OFF THE PRESS NYCHA convened a secret and unannounced emergency meeting tonight at the Ingersol Community Center where they announced NYCHA sponsored centers will close at the end of the Summer Camp program in August displacing 100os of employees and turning hundreds of thousands of Residents into the streets. I have been telling people to prepared for this day over the past few years in which NYCHA has blatantly and deliberately refused to answer questions and address ongoing issues of poor quality programming, lazy staff and incompetent administration. They have squandered away multiple millions of dollars and are now walking away from the residents they were entrusted in providing services to and for..NYCHA HAS GONE PRIVATE AND SHITTED ON US IN THE PROCESS! I am calling on all of elected officials, partners in the private and public sector and MOST OF ALL RESIDENTS, rise up and be heard that we are not going to take this! RISE UP AND TAKE ACTION! DEMAND THE CCOP FIGHT BACK! SAVE YOUR HOMES AND COMMUNITIES!
