***HOT app of the day*** (Free) Endless Wordplay is a truly engaging app for beginning spellers and readers. From the makers of Endless Alphabet, this app makes learning to recognize and spell common, short words really fun for kids! Your child is guided by a friendly robot, who says a word, then the child needs to drag letters into the correct spots to spell the word. When they are moved each letter wiggles and makes its letter sound. If they letter is not placed correctly, the child is told to try again, or no, in a gentle way. If it placed correctly, they move on to the next letter. Upon spelling a word completely, they move on to the next word. When an area on the map is completed, which does not take too long, there is visual and auditory praise plus a short animated clip that matches a sentence using all 3 words from that section, which demonstrate their meaning. In this free version, 3 sections, including 9 total words are offered. The rest of the app is offered via a one-time IAP, which is secured.
