HOTSPOTS THIS WEEK Newton Park homes seems to be the flavour of the week with Westering not far behind. Bluewater Bay was very quiet for a while, but has seen 2 incidents this week. House robberies are still happening nearly daily, with the focus areas in the last week shifting to the New Brighton / Kwazakele areas. Residents should stay alert at all times and arm their alarms. There are rumblings of rolling black outs coming soon, as industrial action against ESKOM is on the cards. Make sure that your alarm back up system batteries are in good order. In other news, ADT won two categories in the security division at the annual PMR awards and it was handed over at a prestigeous business breakfast at the Summerstrand Hotel this week. Not only did ADT win the Diamond award in the category for best Security company in PE, but it also won the Diamond Award for the security company that is doing the most to fight crime in the city.
