HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO MEET TOMORROW House Republicans will - TopicsExpress

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO MEET TOMORROW House Republicans will meet tomorrow behind closed doors to discuss their next steps with Immigration Reform. Republican leaders have repeatedly said that the bill proposed in the Senate will be a nonstarter because, in their view, the bill places the lives of the 11 million undocumented immigrants and creating a pathway to citizenship ahead of border security. The House is said to be working on a separate immigration proposal that would require certain border security measures to be met before a pathway to citizenship could begin. Republicans in the Senate are urging House members to take up the issue and craft a legislation that can unify both Chambers of Congress under one Comprehensive Immigration Bill. PLEASE WATCH FOR MORE INFORMATION SOON.
