HOUSE ON FIRE: WHAT MATTERS is the intriguing title for the October exhibit at High Road Gallery, 12 E. Stafford Ave in Worthington. The Creative Arts of Women has challenged its members to confront the many issues confronting our society and translate their concerns into ART with a capital A. Chairs of the show are Mollie Hannon and Catherine Bell Smith. Their exhibit will include a wide range of media and styles from painting to photography to sculpture, to fiber and much more. The Central Ohio Woodturners will also participate with vessels as well as furniture and other wood crafted pieces. Show dates are October 2 to October 26, The public is invited to the artists’ reception on Sunday, October 6, from 2-4 PM. Jim Glover, our Resident Artist, will be on hand to share his work throughout the show. Gallery hours are 12-4 Wednesday through Saturday. The website is updated monthly and will have entry forms for All STAR ARTISTS TWO , for November and NIFTY GIFTS FOR UNDER FIFTY, for December at highroadgallery.org.
