They charge outrageous prices and were recently found to have pot in the restrooms (marijuana), exorbitantly wealthy and expensive accommodations for traveling executives of which they seem to have a lot of, padded expense accounts, company paid for cars, trips, etc, etc, etc. Like most insurance companies, it is a scam. They build the biggest and most attractive skyscrapers in major cities all over the world; and they keep crying poverty so they can continue to raise your rates. My house/property insurance bill this year was $2500. 4.2% of the value of the property. $1300 was for sink hole coverage. See maps enclosed. Pasco County is right above Tampa and Pinelllas County (St. Petersburg/Clearwater) If you can, buy an inexpensive house outright, put money aside for repairs, but do indeed buy liability insurance $200 for those who trip over your water hose, etc. Then the insurance company can go suck wind. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to do that.
